YOUR SEVENTH TRADITION CONTRIBUTIONS HELP
CARRY THE MESSAGE
Contributions made by you and your group to Central Office support the
work of reaching the alcoholic still suffering around the corner – and around
the San Fernando Valley.
Your contributions make possible essential member services and
support for those seeking help!
- Provide 24-hour phone answering service daily – everyday!
- Guide callers to AA meetings in the area and On-Line.
- Maintain an A.A. listing and phone number in all local directories.
- Acts as an information exchange between and among all A.A.
groups from Calabasas to Glendale and everything in between. - Update and maintain files on A.A. Volunteers along with work
schedules in the office. - Arrange Twelfth Step calls on sick alcoholics by qualified A.A.
members. - Recruit A.A. members for voluntary work on phone shifts and
Twelfth Step calls. - Maintain a central inventory of A.A. World Service literature and
other literature helpful in recovery. - When requested, help arrange for speakers at A.A. meetings.
- Provide qualified speakers for non-A.A. affairs, such as school
classes, churches or business organizations. - Publish a monthly Newsletter (Recovery Times) and maintain a
current mailing list. - Update, revise, publish, distribute a Directory of all A.A. meetings

The San Fernando Valley AA Central Office has been operating since 1966!
Thanks to the contributions and continued support of our groups & members; we are still going strong!
- Central Office has a 24-hour-a-day, 365 days-a-year telephone Hot Line with up-to-date meeting information.
- Your contributions make it possible for Central Office to keep a full stock of AA literature available 7 DAYS A WEEK!
- The Meeting Directory and online meeting information is generated out of Central Office,
as well as the monthly newsletter, The Recovery Times. - Our website, www.sfvaa.org, has A.A. meeting information available and is updated regularly.
- The Public Information Group is always ready to assist the General Public with information on our organization through schools, health fairs, hospitals, etc.
- Convention flyers, upcoming events for the groups, and information regarding
the passing of our members are also available at Central Office.
